Our latest press is a feature in Golf Digest that details the origins of Playing Through and our recent screening at the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival. We're honored to have received this great coverage and especially happy that it shares additional details about the production and cast.
The collaborative effort that has brought Playing Through to the big screen is a special point of pride. Pivoting to Sarasota for filming as a necessary COVID adaptation created the connections with the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe and the Ringling College, as well as local actors and industry professionals who have been so integral to the making of Playing Through and its success on the festival circuit.
Thank you, Golf Digest, for this great feature! And thanks to all of you for supporting the creation of Playing Through and the greater awareness of Ann Gregory's story.
