We were honored to take the stage this week at the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival for the latest screening of Playing Through.
Participating in this noted event, celebrating its 20th year in 2022, has been a tremendous honor. The afternoon screening of Playing Through had a large and engaged audience, with a lively Q and A session following the screening. We are still on Martha's Vineyard and looking forward to additional events in support of our peer filmmakers and the celebration of black excellence in film.
In addition to the Monday show, we will participate in the Director's Brunch on the final day of the festival and we are awaiting the selection of the HBOmax Feature Film awardee alongside our two fellow nominees, The Threesome and Remember Me: The Mahalia Jackson Story.
