Opening Night at the Gary International Black Film Festival

Playing Through is proud to be the opening night film for the 12th Annual Gary International Black Film Festival, returning this year to Indiana University Northwest and streaming online as well.
This festival, hosted just 30 minutes outside of Chicago in Ann Gregory's homeplace of Gary, Indiana, celebrates Black cinematic excellence with a weekend of events and screenings of both short and feature films. Panel discussions add to the line-up, showcasing industry talent from the accepted filmmakers and cinematic peers.
The opening night screening of Playing Through will be accompanied by a special red carpet event, partnering the festival's organizers with the Urban League Young Professionals of Northwest Indiana. Opening night is on October 7th.
