Thank you to Suncoast News for the feature this week on Playing Through and the artistic collaboration that brought the movie to life.
The talented students and administrators at Ringling College were instrumental in the production of Playing Through, as were artists from Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe. Many of the professionals who worked on Playing Through, which began filming in May 2021, are Sarasota artists and film industry professionals. It was an honor to work collaboratively with these enterprises and individuals and to welcome their professionalism and expertise.
